The Old Borough Hotel in Swords offers really clean rooms with ample electrical outlets and USB ports, making it easy to keep all my devices charged. The location shines—it's just a quick taxi ride to the airport in around 7 minutes, and there's plenty of dining options right outside my door. I loved my spacious room with modern decor and a massive flat-screen TV that added to the comfort. parking is a bit of a hassle due to the small lot, and I wish the wifi had been more reliable. it wasn't working during my visit, forcing me to find alternative places to connect. The bar staff seemed overwhelmed and often unavailable when I needed service, leading to some waiting times. I'd say it's a great stop if you're looking for access to local attractions, but consider the parking situation if you're arriving by car.

The rooms come with spacious layouts and unique decor that give a modern take on historic charm, making for a comfortable place to call home during your stay. There’s convenient access to public transport and various dining options right outside the door, which is excellent after a long day's journey.
Several guests reported issues with noise levels, particularly from the bar nearby, which affected their sleep. The check-in process is pretty confusing, taking place at the bar rather than a designated area, leading to awkward interactions. Limited parking can be a hassle, forcing some to lug their bags up a flight of stairs with no alternative available, especially for those with mobility concerns. the issue of poor shower pressure and an inconsistent Wi-Fi connection frustrated others, detracting from an otherwise enjoyable stay.

I stayed in a Double Room for 1 night, and it was pretty sweet! The rustic stone walls and high ceilings gave it a cool vibe. Comfy bed, and everything was super clean. Just a heads up, the other room had a skylight which was a neat touch too. No complaints about the comfort here!
